Integration/Migration OpenText Program ($3.8M)

Physical Objects Project

Duration: 9 Months

Technologies Used: Iron Mountain/OpenText Physical Object Module

Decommissioning from the existing physical objects platform and integrating the new OpenText Physical Objects Module. The project delivered configuring the new module, setting up permissions and processes.  All content information was migrated into the new module.  The project team consisted of internal project resources.


Content Migration Project

Duration: 1 year, 2 months

Technologies Used: FileNet, OpenText

Content needed to be consolidated from an older system into the new OpenText platform and the older platform decommissioned at the end of the project. The project delivered the content migration of over 34 million documents that included, all existing metadata, versions, and permissions with high quality QA controls.  The older platform was decommissioned.  The project team was a combination of a boutique vendor and internal project resources.


Integration Project

Duration: 1 year, 1 month

Technologies Used: OpenText, FileNet, SAP ECC, MM, PS, PPM, FI, PM, WM, BlueWorx

Documents that were being saved or accessed in SAP ECC needed to be engineered to use the new OpenText repository. The project delivered the migration of over 8 million documents, the integration of the whole SAP ECC ERP system to ensure that all documents were being accessed and saved through OpenText.  The project team was a combination of a boutique vendor and internal project resources.

Auto Project Closeout

Duration: 7 Months                Budget: $550K

Technologies Used: SAP PPM, PS, Blue Prism

Closing out projects is a complex process, using multiple systems and multiple departments, the project used a robotics platform to simplify the process. The project delivered a fully automated solution to close out projects in SAP, with minimal administrative tasks.  The project team consisted of internal project resources. 


Auto Project Initiation

Duration: 7 Months                Budget: $690K

Technologies Used: SAP PPM, PS, Project Approvals App, Blue Prism

Initiating projects was a timely process and the business was looking for an expedited system to create projects immediately once the budget was approved. The project delivered a robotics solution that created a project in SAP PS once the project was approved in the Project Budget Approvals Application.  The project team consisted of internal project resources.


4D Inspection Tool Project

Duration: 1 year, 8 months  Budget: $1.4M

Technologies Used: SharePoint, Epilogue, 4D Inspection Tool

Expanding the current 4D platform to include various construction types with digital advantages. The project delivered additional dashboards, intake forms, standardization of progress tracking, including training resources. This project won a CEPA Innovation Award.  The project team consisted of a combination of an implementation partner and internal project members.


Supply Chain Enhancement Project

Duration: 9 Months                Budget: $880K

Technologies Used: SAP MM, Blue Prism

Enhancements were needed in the Supply Chain SAP system to support improved business processes. The project delivered enhancements to the SAP MM platform, including using robotics to automatically close Purchase Orders when a project was closing.  The project team consisted of internal project resources.


Project Budget Approvals Project

Duration: 9 Months                Budget: $1.6M

Technologies Used: SAP PPM, PS

Project budget approvals were a manual process and was at risk to ensure compliance was being met. A Custom application would be created in SAP pushing and pulling information from SAP PPM and PS. The project delivered an end-to-end custom application that complied with financial controls and delivered training resources and videos.  The project team consisted of internal project resources.


Credit Application Enhancement Project

Duration: 7 Months                Budget: $350K

Technologies Used: Credit Safe

Expanding the current credit application platform with enhancements to ensure that the business could expedite their application process. The project delivered enhancements to the current platform, an upgrade and training documentation.  The project team consisted of a combination of an implementation partner and internal project members.
